4-H Summer Camp

Green County 4-H camps at the beautiful Lake Cumberland 4-H Camping Center located near Jabez, KY.  it contains six miles of shoreline in its 1500 acres of rolling hills and forested land.  The Lake Cumberland camp serves 21 counties for summer camp. Camp facilities include Heated cabins with toilet and shower facilities, a swimming pool with waterslide, shelter house, dining hall, country store for souvenirs and snacks, low ropes challenge course, high element zip line, and a craft and nature building. It can accommodate 377 campers and counselors per camping session. An additional 24 campers and counselors can be accommodated by an outpost for primitive camping. The camp offers a cave and miles of nature trails for exploring. In addition, the camp provides areas for riflery, archery, canoeing and fishing, softball, football and basketball. Dates         June 26-30, 2017, deposit deadline March 31 or space available, final payment due May 5

Cost           $220/camper.  $25 deposit reserves a spot.  Credit cards accepted.  
                   The owner of the card must be present with photo ID at the time of payment.

Actvities     Activies change each year.  Sample options have included swimming, archery, rifles, high ropes, low ropes, recreation, sports, crafts, cooking, nature, rockets, lake front with fishing, canoeing, kayaking, pontooning

Who            Youth ages 8-14 can attend as campers at $220.  Registration Forms

                     Adults 18+ may attend as adult chaperones for free.....
